I always wanted an M6809 machine, and now I regret disposing of it....

Why not if they are happy (I certainly am)... And the Evil Empire has just made "Express" versions of all its compilers available free of charge...

Charles Richmond There are two separate issues here, which should not (imho) be conflated: namely DIY computing, and Z80s. There were other ways to roll your own. As I recall...

Of couse, so why read them. What about these.....

Here Here, never enjoyed myself so much in years, Usual problem though, so little time so much to do. Don't know how I find time to read and post on here...

Perhaps not for real big stuff, but there are PIC chips and PIC projects for real time computing. I have just built an simple adaptor to allow an PC ethernet card to go in my Atari. I have a PIC based mouse controller for same coming along so I can use a PS-2 mouse.....

SUNOS, Solaris, MINIX, FreeDos......

Or my favourite, Hercules that lets me have more "virtual" mainframes to play with than I could ever dream of in real life... MVS 3.8, VM-370 , Music, Linux. just a pity no zVM Hobbyist. (must do the VMS Hobbyist stuff though, but once again time is running out .... Now can even do RJE over the internet....

Wonder if I'll ever get round to firing up the SPARC station again. Available for a snip on E-Bay..

Not sure I like that though. If it can't be done in Fortran II is it worth doing? (Thats II and note IID)

No, not, I

Dave
