I gave you the specs for that project. You keep trying to portray that this was awful. 3 req for the -10 work vs. 12 reqs for the -20 work. Your smoke doesn't work with me. For you to find out exactly what the dollar amount is, you need to find out what the multiplier that was used for that building at that time. You also keep ignoring that fact that whatever was spent on 6.04 would have been spent anyway.

Now you really are in loony tunes. Our customers were not captive. They talked with their pocketbooks and DEC at that time still knew which side of the bread their butter came from.

What prototype?

It sure is good to know that people told you, The TOPS-20 SPR Pest, all of the internal and confidential details.

You don't know why decisions were made. You are basing your information on information that has been sanitized of all embarrbuttment potential. You are also reinventing the facts. You are also purposely misreading what I write and claiming that I'm telling you that you are right. You couldn't be more wrong and you can't take that. This is why you keep trying to put words in my mouth.

Now, the fact that I won't kiss your butt and play nicey-nice, the way the -20 people had to because you were a customer, has now caused you to dis the operating system with a name meant to be derogatory. Please note that a majority of TOPS-20 developers -20 was just as bad because these same people also did work on the -10. People don't improve their coding techniques 100% overnight.

Really? How many TOPS-10 vs TOPS-20 customers were there in 1980? Now I know that you are in a fantasy world. Perhaps the real reason why you lost...
