Arayna v0.035 alpha 2537Charles A. Crayne If by common conventions, you mean the use of shift-click or ctrl-click to select multiple items, then yes. I'm also toying with the idea of allowing dragging one list object onto another to act as a "combine" command.
At this point, Arayna modules run like an IF game without a parser. Instead of typing commands, the user interacts with a GUI. For the script-end, I'm trying to keep the language as simple as possible. For this early alpha version, no Linux support is available. However, I'm strongly considering the use of OpenGL for the visual components of the beta release to make it more portable. Future versions may even include the ability of graphical adventure style games. I remember playing a bit of Castle Elsinore and found it quiet enjoyable despite the review at Home of the Underdogs :). As it is a clbuttical style game, the Arayna script engine can probably handle most of the game as it is (possibly with slight changes to accomodate the GUI) . If I or someone volunteers to convert CE to Arayna script, would you have any objections? I have to ask as it is copywrited, I don't know exactly how the copywritght would pbutt on in an Arayna module.
