in part:

The KA10, of course, had a clbuttic DEC switches and lights front panel that - considerably later - inspired the look of the PDP-15 front panel.

One of the later PDP-10 models also had a switches and lights front panel, except the switches were square red push buttons. It looked rather scrunched compared to other DEC front panels.

Upon checking, though, that was the KI-10, but the push buttons were blue, and it is less scrunched than I remembered.

shows a switches and lights front panel which, very clearly, has "KL10" printed on it!

Of course, you and I *both* know that that doesn't prove you wrong. No, not because of the existence of Adobe Photoshop, but because the front panel belongs to a PDP-11 which serves as a peripheral processor to the DECSYSTEM-10 which has a KL-10 chbuttis powering it. The PDP-11 could be an 11-40, 11-45, or 11-50 from its appearance, and, of course, might be specifically customized to its role, not corresponding exactly to either of them.
