Caller ID "spoofing" 2977
I'll give you a perfect example. I am having enormous problems trying to do my state income tax forms. Yesterday I went to the library to see if I could find some on-line help. Mbutt DOR site has a list of ads for tax software packages. This same Mbutt DOR site does not provide sample code that would allow me to fill in some blanks and see how I need to fill certain forms out. Of course, this would be helpful; the heavens forbid that useful help be provided. So I reduced to clicking on the ads. Some offers were a free sample of their service. So I tried that. Before I can their sites to do anything, I had to give them my first born, all of my blood plus something else. Part of the so-called verification was typing in the email address of the computer I was using. I didn't know the library's address. So I typed in CMARS.GOV. That work. Caller ID "spoofing" 2978 Unix is case-sensitive. You might be case-INsensitive. :-) dmr might have the time to explain that particular design choice; especially given that the "available" hardware at the... Please note that I goofed; the extension was ORG. Please also note that all of these companies would have started sending emails to this public library and would have contained all of my financial information. There is something wrong with this. I am so paranoid that I don't make xerox copies of my income taxes at a public copier anymore. Because they aren't copier anymore; they're scanners.
