Change in computers as a hobbiest... 2848
Well, the author of CygnusEd was a regular at club meetings, so I might have slipped him a suggestion or two... Yup. There was a wide choice - plenty of room to get into editor wars, which I won't do here. I've used several machines. Currently I'm using a 2000 with a Blizzard processor board (68060 and 32MB RAM) and a Picbutto IV graphics card. Although while we were running the Univac mainframe we had an A2000 with a bridge board, and we stuck in an ISA card and MS-DOS software that would emulate the (block-mode, polled, synchronous) Uniscope protocol. We could do file transfers that way too. Perhaps, but Zmodem worked so much better... -- I'm really at ac.dekanfrus if you read it the right way. X Top-posted messages will probably be ignored.
