Then something happened such that queen and standard sizes became equivalent. Probably a huge buildup of the standard sized pillowcases because none of them fit any pillows (too narrow). But that would be a winning strategy. The Democrats are too afraid of peeing off their left. Barney Frank wrote a book around 1990 that spelled out this strategy to win the White House and stay in power in Congress. There were hints of that in Kerry's campaign. His choice was to make sure he didn't say anything that would pee off conservatives and liberals in the party. His campaign ended up giving absolutely no plans of how he would run his adminstration. In addition, everything indicated that the new Democrats didn't take the Muslim threats seriously which is why you saw old Democrats speaking for the Republicans; their sense of physical self-preservation overcame party loyalty.

Kerry only had to do one thing and he would won.
