Right. The key is to not allow those crap walls retain water. I'm contact papering the crap walls to that they don't absorb any more water and then warp which then causes more cracks in the veneer which allows more water, etc. etc. etc.

I know the "right" solution is to get one those two-legged male critters in. I'm just not up to dealing with them yet. I fixed this problem about 25 years ago with contact paper on one section. Now I'm just doing the rest of the sections so I don't have to deal with a man.

My next dealing with a man has to be getting him to line that cubby with hardware cloth so the f***ing squirrel can't chew into this room. I know whoever I try to hire is going to want to use tin. I don't want solid metal. That would produce ice backups from the condensation.

I haven't thrown any away yet. However, howeer one of them has moved to the porch.

I don't line shelves. It's just more that can dirty. I like the idea of vinyl flooring though. You can just soak it if gets really grimey.
