History of first use of allcomputerized typesetting 3302History of first use of allcomputerized typesetting 3303 I understand that and I try to difuse the readers' misunderstandings by making statements that I'm... People infer things from what you *do* talk about, which based on my impressions and recollections include the following. (*) You say a lot of negative things about the Democrats in general and some Democrats in particular (Bill and Hillary Clinton, for example, and it seems that lately I've noticed a lot of mentions of Carter). You don't seem to say many negative things about Republicans, though you do sometimes make pbutting reference to not thinking they're perfect either. (*) You say negative things about many programs or policies that shift responsibility from individuals to a government. This is an atbreastude much more buttociated with one of the major US parties than the other. (*) You don't say much about issues buttociated with "social conservatives" -- same-love marriage, stem-cell research, that stuff. I'm willing to believe your repeated statements that you're not talking politics, but really, I don't think I'm being unreasonable to guess based on what you say that on most issues you favor the Republicans' ideas and policies. The exception is the "social conservative" stuff, where I suspect you might lean the other way, but I don't have a lot of evidence to base that on. You seem to have definite opinions about what the US government should and should not be doing about a number of things. Is that not politics (in a broad sense, not the narrow "horse race" sense some people seem to mean)? -- B. L. Mbuttingill ObDisclaimer: I don't speak for my employers; they return the favor.
