I understand that and I try to difuse the readers' misunderstandings by making statements that I'm not talking about politics.

Because they are a group that is doing the wrong things for the wrong reasons to achieve the wrong goals. There isn't another group like them at the moment. These are the same people who will be in the White House in two years.

Who are the most dangerous of the bunch since they have no compunctions about completely dismantling the Consbreastution. This is exactly how WEstern civ. will be destroyed.

That is history. His actions have direct effects on what is happening now. Remember the Iran hostage crisis? Remember Camp David accords? Remember all the military decisions that were mistakes? IIRC, one of the political leaders in Iran today was part of the gang that kidnapped those people.

I don't say much about that because I'm not talking about politics!

Which one? I know of none that have atbreastude in today's political climate.

Perhaps I don't talk about them because I'm not talking about politics nor am I talking about internal affairs. I am trying to talk about future events that will destroy knowledge.

I have repeatedly, but apparently not often enough, stated that I do not favor their ideas and policies. I have been restriction my discussions with one, and only one, aspect of the world situations. I consider this to be the most important and the most dangerous w.r.t. the continuation of a life style proven to work better than any other. This life style thrives when knowledge is acquired and preserved and used. There is none other in all the writtens histories of the world that was as successful. Innovation was stymied in the Roman, Chinese, Ottoman, and Russian empires.

None of these had a capitalistic economy where innovation was rewarded and non-working was ignored. The only way to get rich is booty; the only way to stay rich is to discourage all changes which has to include learning new stuff.

Because I haven't talked about politics.

It is on the edges which I've been working very hard to avoid crossing. If a government becomes responsible for all things to all its people, there is no incentive for any of these people to work at anything. Therefore, nobody knows how to do any work; they have not learned how to do any of these essential tasks and are completely helpless whenever anything requiring work happens. THese events happen all the time because that is life.

When a collective people stop doing their own work, that civilization is done and a new one starts to form.

Politics is about local human affairs. I'm talking about global trends of living styles (known as civilizations) in the future. Wouldn't it be nice to travel to Mars? Wouldn't it be nice to spend one's life learning about other than hunting and gathering? Wouldn't it be wonderful if everybody had the choice of what work to do?
