All the ticket systems must have been before my time. I don't remember any around Chicago. I don't know about the East-West tollway as I have never been on it.

Maybe you should start sending cancellations notices now. :-) It will take them 6 months just to figure it out, I bet. Oh, and simply stopping paying them does no good. They seem to buttume that is an over site and will continue to bill you for years. And sooner or later when you fail to pay those bills, send it out for collection. BTDT.

And it's either rcn or winstar that refuses to accept an email notice of cancellation. They insist that you spend how ever many hours it takes to get someone on the phone to cancel an account. I didn't. I simply ignored them until they gave up. Takes about 5 years or so.

I have twice had the misfortune to have my ISP bought out by a big screwup national. I was originally with mcs.com, which got bought by winstar, and then I had enteract.com, which got bought by rcn. In both cases, the new owner started changing things, for the worse, IMO. Centralized billing that can't add 1+1 and get 2, changing account clbuttes so you got less for the same fee, changing the domain name, all that sort of poo.

I am now with a nice little local ISP, which I only use for connectivity. I just hope it stays big enough to keep going, but not so large as to attract a buyout. If that happens, I would be tempted to find financing and but it myself. Just so I don't have to put up with another change.

You may want to setup an account now, before rcn screws up.

rcs, cvs, etc ... tend to be "down-dates" ... you have the complete source for the current version ... with control information how to regress to earlier versions...

Since I see you are local to Chicago, send me an email and I will tell you who my current ISP is, which is also local to Chicago. Oh, I see you used to be with Enteract, also. :-)
