It's not the heat, it's the humidity WAS: The 8008On Wed, 06 Jul 2005 12:39:57 -0400, Lee Ayrton My Chryslers allowed me to tun this "feature" off. There are *may* times when I don't *want* the window cold! ...like when it is 95F and 95% humidity outside. Nope, the damned thing knows better then I, so I have to turn the *HEAT* on in the middel of the summer. So? The problem I have is condensation on the *OUTSIDE*. It's a dumb design to out-think the driver on simple controls like this. Nonsense. The compressors don't run when the temperature is below freezing (and within a good margine above that). There are places on this planet where this doesn't happen for *MONTHS*. I happen to live in one such place and am peeed that the damned thing runs whan I do *not* want it to. My wife's CHevy had a great flow-through system. It let all the Maple 'copters flow right through. Many $hundreds later we decided that it wasn't a great idea to park the thing in our driveway. Of course, but there is no way of controlling when the silly thing works. Indeed it's a very *bad* idea to run it when it's -40C, for any number of reasons. -- Keith
