Heck we export officials to Brussels and they probably feel the same about them.
And the enforcing of it. I believe that this is what we have for better or worse.
At one point the US allowed the printing of money at local banks. You know what that led to. The creation of the Federal Reserve System didn't simply come into being because it was a neat idea; the existing system failed miserably and landed us into the Great Depression. And all this time I thought it was because the former Soviet Union no longer is capable of performing a check and balance as was present during th Cold War. In short, we were tolerated in Europe due to the fact that we were a deterrent to a Soviet invasion. Now that the fear of a Soviet invasion no longer exists our presence in Europe is seen as a threat. So 50 points-of-view make more sense than one? And this is true between border states like Texas as compared to Kansas about Mexican immigrants exactly how? Did you even think before you jumped on the "states-rights" bandwagon?!?
300% of what? Please be specific when throwing percentages around. Making the ship of government selfrighting XBOX 360 2629 Who says that Europeans liked the "big brother"? I could point out a couple of cases where you...
Right we have dollar hegemony and it is clear in the purcahse of petroleum and bully for us that we do, or we'd be in deep poo otherwise. I shutter to think how many Americans are clueless about this and exactly how vulnerable we are given this. But I'm sure all it would do is cause panic rather than cause for action if it were a well-known fact.
We since we are a Plutocratic Oligarchy and Churchill is probably spinning in his grave, I stand corrected. In short, true democracy is better than what we have now. Eric
