Medicine was: The Pankian MetaphorThe Pankian Metaphor 3041 On Fri, 14 Apr 2006 20:02:47 -0500, Charles Richmond A refund is simply the government returning money you've loaned... Damnit. I'm not going to respond to any more renamed threads. I am trying to keep off-topic discussions in one corner of the f***ing newsgroup so that those who don't want to waste their time can can the thread. But you keep creating new threads.
Actually it does not work well. I am paying my folks' supplemental insurance because Medicare doesn't work well. My mother has a bookkeeping system that, if not done, would never get the bills paid. Now, if somebody is so sick that they cannot do the paperwork, there is no payment of the bills. It is the nameless faces of the government that decides what is "proper" treatment. When the funding goes down, the proper treatments will become more restrictive. I can imagine that most monies is going towards paperwork that deals with common actions as if they were exceptions. I can see a time when it will be illegal to deliver some services even if the patient wants to pay cash.
Taxes was: The Pankian Metaphor 3042 Then why are you following the current Democrat leadership and focusing on Bush? Will you pay attention to their language? The Republicans do not have a major majority so that other side has played... That's what Democrats want. It will be a disaster. Nobody will get treated when they're ill. Why do you think Canadians go over the border to get treatment? It's because they want to be treated now rather than two years from now. BAH
