I believe Bloomberg WBBR is 1130 the former WNEW-AM. (Long time since my college radio DJ days...)

I think the FCC deregulation's cut back that requirement for full call sign and number multiple times per hour. I think it's just on the hour now.

Probably could get some of the Canadian AM stuff we stole the frequency from at 68 plus 10AM. We were in NJ and there was very few people except those radio DXers looking for wierd and unusual stations that noticed us.

It's legal, but no commercial broadcast operator would do it because it'd annoy their listeners. It's common...

We ran pirate AM college radio on the Frequency until the FCC got us. We were supposed to be carrier current on the AC power lines but we couldn't get all the college dorms. The fake Short Wave Listening antenna went on the roof and the fun was on for about 4 or 5 years.

"This is WFDM Radio 68 plus 10 on the AM dial... your ears finally have something to talk about."

WFDM -- Jolly Roger Radio 5 years pirate.

A lot of the New York stations stream including WCBS NewsRadio 88.

Bill -- -- digital had it THEN. Don't you wish you could still buy it now! pechter-at-ureachtechnologies.com
