snip about missing groceries, republicans, tax cuts, being mean to welfare etc

I forgot to add; "small" in groceries is "less than 20 outlets" or "covering only half a state".

If the compebreastior of a product making them 20 cent on a sale comes along and buys shelf space for $2M per month they will run along happily to make that irrational decission. That is the way family fortunes are made.

Of course. Certain body parts should be cleaned first. But this is only when the whole hole is contained within wood. I don't see...

But, you see, with wafer thin margins it doesn't take much to push out a product.

It is just like TV.

What is the main product the TV stations deliver?

No, not reality shows. You.

The soap approach is good. Its also helpful to drill pilot holes, particularly for long screws or when there is risk...

You are the main product, delivered neatly documented and charted to the advertisers.

If you don't believe this, try to visit an advertisers show once.

The other "consumer intensive" (i.e. highly exposed to lots of people) outlets are going the same way. Gas stations has led the way; every shelf there is bought by the vendor. Except perhaps the gas pump.

Likewise in kiosks, grocery stores etc. Shelf outlets is becoming the main product, to be sold to other chains.

Expect a backlash in terms of specialist stores coming back when this get to be too bad.

Yep.
