Yea, I'm aware of this trick. I need to buy drill bits.

Carpentry is a lot like computers...you buy one thing and all of sudden you need 100 other things to make the first work better :-). When the guy at Westboro Lumber sold me this drill (it was my first drill), he was holding it up. My eyes followed the cord down, noticing that it ended crotch height. Then I realized I had to buy an extension cord. But it didn't say that on the bloody package---"system requirements: 40' extension cord".

That's light duty why I never even considered them. But then I'd always been able to do all light duty with my hands.

I remember the thread about these screwheads. I'd use them in second.

I don't know why I can't screw well. It's one of things I keep trying to figure out. I think it's the skin and muscle pain I have. My skin feels like it's getting a million paper cuts each nanosecond and my muscles feel like I'd been thoroughly beaten with a 2x4 yesterday. Holding anything tightly is extremely painful.

butt mbutt. I don't seem to be able to "push" hard enough...I've never understood why. my...

I looked at those. The problem is that I can barely use the drill I have because it's almost too long. I've been rebuilding the insides of closets and cupboards and I didn't like putting screws in at an angle. Note that I'm learning all the carpentry and tool use by the seat of my pants. Most of my info is based on my memories of watching my Dad and the carpenters who built the houses he installed furnaces in.
