Penn Central RR computer system failure 2151

Mbuttachusetts' light managements are terrible. There was one traffic light that was red for ten minutes at a time for no traffic (the road it was waiting for hadn't opened yet). This lasted for a year. People were completely ignoring the red light. It happened that it should have been red for a teensy amount of time. I alsmost got hit because of people that red light. I went to the cops and explained that having that light working as if all the cross-traffic was there was dangerous and that I didn't blame these people for going through the red light.

The cops said they knew about the problem. However, even though the light was above Southboro soil, it was a Framingham traffic light and they couldn't do a damned thing about it.

We have the same problems with bridge repairs and maintenance, road repairs (especially pot holes) and maintenence, etc.

You would have fun on Rt. 9. It's timed so that going 30 MPH gets you all green but the speed limit is 45 MPH and the speed mentality of the drivers is 60 MPH. This is a section that has five lanes, 2 for left turn, 3 for straight thru and right turn. Then it all gets completely f***ed up when there's a traffic sensor that turns the green light on if there's a car parked in a certain place.
