Program end speed was: XBOX 360 2715Not with code. Changing the subject lines will force everybody to have to spend human wallclock time to make a decision. Program end speed was: XBOX 360 2716 snip Maybe I need a better-different newsreader, and this group might be just the one to recommend one. I'm currently using trn and am... emoticon pinches itself to see if it's still in a f***ing computer newsgroup of bit gods or has just fallen in the Twilight Zone Sort. My newsreader collects things by sorting on newsgroup, subject header, followups. He can followup the Hertz comment with his own post, snipping out all the crap, and all the followups to his followup will get collected within in sub-sub-subbin. If, and I mean IFF, the drift becomes more than a temporary sub-discussion, then you change the subject line. This not unsimilar to people deciding that another meeting should be arranged to concentrate on the new sub-discussion. I view each thread as a meeting, one meeting. Yes, it is. The only reason people set up discussion rules is to make progress and not prevent progress. Yes, well, if people here want to conform to the rest of all newsgroups, the the signal to noise ratio should be also be changed....1::99. There is also another solution to this problem and that is for me to shutup, which was why CBF did the header change. BAH
