Question about Dungeon game on the PDP 31

Question about Dungeon game on the PDP 32
Sigh! (I've just downloaded zorkos2.zip from Hobbes so as to demonstrate this) G:-temp-Zork-bindungeon Welcome to Dungeon...

You scrounge around for a cup that is fairly clean.

You pour yourself a cup of coffee. The printer has started printing.

You put the coffee cup on the printer.

You are in a medium-sized room. At one end is an open doorway. At the other end of the room is a locked door with a basketball net mounted over it. There is an IBM 1403 printer facing you in the middle of the room. The printer is printing.

You have the following: a pocket protector (in your shirt pocket) 9 pens (in the pocket protector) 4 unpunched 80-column cards (in your shirt pocket) an IBM Yellowcard (being held) The printer has run out of paper. The hood rises, knocking your cup of coffee off the printer. The cup hits the floor and shatters. Coffee streams towards the far door and under. You hear a nasty shorting sound. Your score has gone up by 10 points.

The doorknob will not turn.

The door swings open. Your score has gone up by 2 points.

What is in that room?

Sincerely,

Gene Wirchenko
