Chuck was also, as a result of his leadership of the HASP project, the master of ceremonies at the HASP sing-along that was held on Thursday nights at every major SHARE meeting; after being an informal gathering for many years it later became a formally-scheduled session. After the New York unions tried to stop it at one meeting the SHARE board agreed to formally support it, and pbutted a resolution to supply "a HASP model 88, with no strings attached" at the session.
