I don't know if I did read what you wrote. I've been getting confused because sometimes you seem to be talking to me when you're replying to somebody...
He doesn't. However, it is important to remember that the notion of human-caused "global warming" is a *religious* belief. Look at the way these true-believer types cling to the ludicrous notion that two major hurricanes are "proof positive" of their notions. This, despite the National Hurricane Center (which has been tracking these storms for 150+ years) states it is just a natural cycle, and despite the fact that human activity accounts for less than 1-3 of 1% of the greenhouse effect.
You're wasting your time talking reason, logic, common sense, or facts to the global warming hucksters. It's like trying to talk a fundamentalist choose favorite religion that there are logical flaw in their belief system.
What it boils down to is what changes we will we accept in our lifestyles in order to accomodate the religious beliefs of environmental nutters (and their useful idiots), which are based primarily on half-baked theories, banely flawed computer models, and a lot of wishful thinking. For myself, the answer is NONE. Bupkiss. Nada. Zero. Zilch. (After all, what most of these guys are really after is an an end to the free enterprise system, the "global warming" issue gives them a back door method of attack.)
This is an illusion, similar to the marxist pricing of capital. There is far more people than needed on the planet. The problem is the inverse, to support all...
Carbon dioxide is *not* a pollutant. This one issue alone is sufficient reason to keep the liberal Democrat wackos out of power, despite any flaws the Republicans may have.
