Lake Hula (sp?), famous example of a swampy lake in what is now Northern Israel, reclaimed, first few years wonderful crops, now having to be abandoned. Carefull about the grew nothing...
I don't call conversion reclamation. I was thinking about land that grew nothing and was transformed to productive acreage. I don't know anything about the thingie you call Lake Hula. I just remember being impressed by the work going on in fields that used to do nothing.
This (potable water) is going to be the next kind of global resource crisis.
I wasn't even thinking of redirection of resources. I was thinking of all that labor to make lawns look like the pictures in BH&G. It's the largest waste of time in middle clbutt.
This does not sound correct to me. Is my gut feel wrong? I would buttume that this is the biz that would cause the unexpected messes in economies and trade.
Our power production is hugely price sensitive sicne the idiots have been law suiting all nuclear plants out of business.
That's not the problem. The problem is that it takes 10 years to build a power plant even if there are no viscious law suits whose sole purpose is to have all monies spent on lawyering until the builder goes bankrupt.
On the contrary, I don't think most people are aware of contradictions. They have a capability of believing both.
