The duck reference reminded me of an amusing anecdote from my days as a mechanic. This was the time when the rock band "Queen" had the song "Another One Bites the Dust" playing on the radio. There was a constant friendly banter between the often younger rock music crowd and the often older country music population. Given the relatively poor sound quality of most portable radios of the era, one of the "country" crowd swore that they were singing, "I never wanna f*** a duck."

The most amusing of all was that one of the oldest of the group was a gray haired gentleman who drove a customized narrow body pickup with an incredible deep metallic paint job and dual chrome vertical exhaust stacks behind the cab. This guy was good enough to make nearly a six figure salary turing wrenches back when that was a LOT of money.

On Friday afternoons about closing time, he would wheel his truck into his stall at the far end of the shop, sit down on the running board and fire up a big fat doobie and pbutt it around. It was like working with Willie Nelson. :)
