I haven't run into that problem, but then again I wouldn't notice it since I have balls in my pants :)

What I have noticed is that one or two women on a team are rarely an issue, but when you get a critical mbutt they form a clique and defend each others' mistakes even in the face of indisputable proof. It's always a man's fault, and when you fix their mistakes and get things working, they still refuse to accept responsibility. It wastes a lot of productive time working around this, but you can't call them on it or you risk getting accused of "creating a hostile work environment" and summarily fired.

It took me a long time to understand this atbreastude, but a couple years ago I had the misfortune of being partnered with a man who was so blatantly loveist and racist that I was tempted to file a harrbuttment complaint against him, both because I was so truly offended at what he said (despite being a white male) and so as to protect myself from fallout. Someone else got him canned first, but I did see what women have to put up with from some men. Too bad some of them can't distinguish between the ones like that (which hopefully are diminishing) and decent men who are just trying to get their jobs done.
