Somebody emailed me a comment that the stuff I'm talking about is tabu on that other newsgroup. I'm going to start stripping it off the list. This is my only notice. I was talking about winter time and when she didn't have me to go out there. A lot of it has to do with soap retained and a dryer tends to beat the clothes. That's what happens when you wear them until they're soft. Yup. My brother gave Mom his old one. Now she uses it..most of the time. That's what I do. I have 30 days' worth of socks and wash them once-month. It took me until 1985 or so to get a washer-dryer since it included having to hunt-trap-convince a plumber to do some plumbing work. I'm glad I finally did that. I was doing a couple loads a day when Jim was sick. Maybe the dorms have their own? Laundramats aren't bad and have the advantage of getting it all done at once. The advantage of having the device in-house is you do a load at any time without having to be dressed to go outside. The 8008 was: Blinky lights WAS: The SR71 Blackbird was designed ENTIRELYwith slide rules Yeah, except that Grace Hopper did *not* make the log entry. The entry was made by a maintenance person for the Mark II computer. This reminds... BAH Subtract a hundred and four for e-mail.
