Bernd Felsche Well, no. The fakes weren't all cartoons, but images circulated first in the Middle East *claimed* to have been published in the Danish press, but weren't. One was a very poor...

Heat flowing against the temperature gradient? Where's the heat pump?

This is what destroying western civilization entails. People are telling you that they have this goal. Yet people like...

The "greenhouse" isn't *that* good at preventing energy from leaving the troposphere.

Not yet. Minimum is projected next year this year. Present activity is still higher than between 1995 and 1998.

The total cyclical nature isn't at all well known (i.e. it's "surprising") and there's a huge lag between solar activity and actual weather effects on Earth. The kettle doesn't boil the instant you put it on the stove.

There is some evidence that we're about half-way through a ~90 year cycle of ~11-year cycles of sunspot activity; each of gradually increasing magnitude; with the most-recent peak about the magnitude of the largest "recent" peak around 1958, so (I guess) we can expect a few more similar peaks in the next 3 to 4 decades. The activity is apparently increasing because the spots are getting closer to the equator on each cycle.

Note that there are also orbital effects (and "wobble") to consider when calculating actual global insolation.

See also with the usual wiki-caveat.

It indicates next "warm" period due to solar activity around 2030 (Gleisberg) after the previous (Suess) peak in 2002. -- "Bernd Felsche - Innovative Reckoning, Perth, Western Australia ASCII ribbon campaign "Laws do not persuade just because X against HTML mail they threaten." and postings Lucius Annaeus Seneca, c. 4BC - 65AD.
