No all current Islamic orders. Many of the violent seem to match up with Wahhabism and other fundamentalist sects. One of the things that made Abqaiq so startling.

I have been watching first-hand. I was back there one week after KATRINA to help with infrastructure. I know for a fact the news reporting was heavily biased: newspeople reported what would sell phontons, electrons and ink. Concentrating on the "picturesque" moments. And I've been back many times since. Sure, there some small scale violence. There is everywhere, and I'm not sure it's entirely bad.

I was also in Paris & burbs less than one month after the peak of the car burnings. They are not nuts. They are French. Did you notice that after the first two accidental electrocutions, there was only one baneity and none caused by police?

Those "values" were not unique to Germany. Nor to that period of history. "Blame somebody...

You expect the UN to solve anything? Did the League of Nations? Why would you expect decisive action from that committee? Would your really want any? One World Government?

Ah, you believe in the Dark Ages. They really weren't all that dark, nor was the Roman Republic & Empire all that brilliant.

The knowledge, tools and infrastructure won't perish simply because the extremists who wish it will never be able to muster sufficient force or allies. Nor will the reaction to them do that job.
