You are being specious (look it up).

No, you cannot.

That is the doctor you are buttigned to. In order to get any medical services you have to have that person's permission. In order to get any appointment with somebody other than that PCP, you have to have his approval. If you don't like his decisions, you cannot find another PCP to replace him.

Now follow the paperwork. You will find out who controls when, where and why you see that doctor.

Exactly.

That's what I said. Only people with insurance has a pbutt to get through the services door. It doesn't ever guarantee that it will open whenever you want it nor will it give you your choice of who you see.

Exactly my point. Without that piece of paper, you cannot access any medical services. Denial of access to services it always the direct result of this kind of business model because it is the most profitable. Medical services are socialized with all capitalism removed.

snip snip The "at least one" is a so-called PPO (preferred provider organization). I don't really know the details -- e.g., when-whether prior approval is...

My mother just had an episode having to do with a mal-beating heart. She waited until the doctor's office was about to close and then called. Since they were about to close up the office, they told her to go to the ER which is what she wanted to do all day.

After everything settled down, her doctor now believes that she has a dodgy heart because the ER people put her on a 24hour recorder which hard-copied the errant flip flops her heart was doing. If she had called the doctor earlier, he would have scheduled an appt. and then told her that it was all in her head. She has medical insurance. The only way she got access to real medical service was to manipulate the system.

I have to do the same thing.

On Wed, 19 Apr 2006 04:56:36 GMT, Roland Hutchinson I probably posted this before, but...

No, I'm stating that insurance is useless. The political promises about medical rights are only about insurance, not the real services.

The Pankian Metaphor 3017
The last one I knew was the one that DEC "owned". That was getting phased out by 1990; this is done by making the premiums so high that all employees are forced to opt...

Then the law is a sham. It is time to find the crafted black hole that increases this tax. There isn't any way $295-year can pay for all medical services of 100,000 people.

Ew. More snail snot.

HUH?

That was 1980. It was very different then.

You need to learn a little bit more about ocal economies that do NOT depend on one company staying profitable.

You place too much need on growth of each business. Rapid growth does not equate to profitable over the long-term.

Because people have been taught that there is a pill for all ails. Not many people think this...

EVery big business was a small business when it was young.

More snot. If you want to continue this discussion, leave it out of the bits.

The Pankian Metaphor 3015
This is the common procedure in state-federal-run socialist programs. I don't see how it could. The biz is doing what...

That's family. Now price single. COBRA doesn't last forever. It is supposed to be a stopgap (that implies temporary); thus, it is subsidized.

Yup. You have to pay this, no matter what you want. Another Democrat order of moving your money into their pockets. It also smells of a blank check; blank checks are the latest ploy of our local and state politicians.

It isn't free, is it? It is also a way for politicians to get any amount of your money up front.

But all you get is a piece of paper that says that you've paid the bill. It does not get you an appointment and treatment.

BAH
