I don't understand all the Islamic politics. I do think that the last thing Hamas to be is getting told by Iran what to do.

Then why does Hamas still make messes? This all sounds like rhetoric. The problem that Hamas has is that they are now the government; thus, they are finding out that demanding changes is a lot easier than getting the work done. They can no longer exchange foreign donations into weaponry but have to pay bills to keep the regular infrastructure going. This paradox is what end Sadat of Eqypt.

It's one of the public service cable channels. Sesssion of Congress (House and Senate) are broadcast. When they are not in session, a lot of other stuff like seminars, interviews with authors, presentations by administration, etc. are broadcast. This isn't about Bush. This is all about how helpless people will be if any little disaster happens. Extrapolate and imagine what mess there will be if a big disaster happens; and there will be one. All the Democrats did that first week was bash Bush and hinder anything that should have been done. They went so far as to try to get the voters to believe that Bush caused the hurricane, implying that he steered it over New Orleans. And people believed this bullpoo.

It is now fashionable to bash Bush. Since people, who are unable to think in the manner we've been discussion, need to be a part of the majority, they are also aping the behaviour. This is a tactic of the Dem party to drive down Bush's poll approval ratings. Note that this leadership is still driven by poll approval rather than intelligent thinking; this was the style in the 90s. It worked so there's no reason tactics have to change.

However, the direct effects of this approach is undermining anybody who wants to do or talk about the real danger. Every practical thing that Bush suggests is turned into a week-long mock session here in the Northeast. The result of this is nobody does anything to prepare for a mess. There are very, very few people in this world who are willing to say no when the direct result is social ostracization.
