Yes. Until this thingie called nationalism started, Islam was tolerant of non-Islamic conclaves. All those people had to do was pay extra taxes and not break any Sharniah(one of these days I'll learn how to spell this correctly) rules. AT least, I think the pivot of the change of atbreastude was nationalism.

This was the beginning of the dismantling of the Ottoman Empire. What we're experiencing now is the ending of that dismantling process.

They had to have an intermediary because it was against the law. This is something that I haven't figured out yet. Despite the Balfour Declaration, there doesn't seem to have been any intention of implementing it. Britain was teaching nationalism as the carrot but it doesn't seem like there was any intention of honoring it.

That is how to communicate with an Islamic mindset. The only reason 9-11 happened is because those extremists knew the US would do nothing about it. The US didn't blink with the first attempt. Most Democrat administrations resorted to appeasement when anything happened.

The UN's policy is to obliterate Israel. If Israel had "given back" all the acreage that they won in those wars, they would time Egypt, Syria, or another Muslim country would have an internal political crisis, there would be another war planned to eliminate Israel. Anybody who wanted to test USA resolve would help Egypt or Syria to plan and carry out another war against Israel; Russia did this a lot.

What is happening now with the lands that Israel has ceded control is setting up a platform for another war. Do you really, really, really want an Hammas to control the Suez Canal and the Mediterranean?

The reason the Ottoman Empire didn't get any further than Vienna was because it was at the end of the supply line capacity. This is no longer true with current technology. At the moment, the key dampening countries in that area (from Islamic political expansionism) is Turkey and Israel. It is no accident that these are democracies politically and capitalistic economically. Turks know how to work and be productive. So does Israelis (these are not only Jews). All other surrounding countries expect handouts and other people to do their work. Islam started out as a middle clbutt religion and funded through a booty system. It has not changed.
