The Pankian Metaphor 3176Yes. I think this is called diplomacy. It is a normal part of governing biz. OK. Most people seem to get this all confused. I misunderstood. My apologies. Morten corrected this one. But they are not doing this anymore; the citizens of Israel have had a public debate (this includes Jews and non-Jews--all citizens) and they just want to get on making stuff instead of getting interrupted everytime a certain small group of people feel they need to get back into the world headlines. This has been a pattern since the early 80s. The only destabilising that I've noticed is only with the PLO; these are not all the Palestinians. They are a militant minority who have managed to suck billions of dollars without putting it into their local economy. I would hope that all possibilities would be considered. I sure am fed up with people who are objecting to military and administrations who are doing their jobs. What I'm reading from you posts is a hint of an buttumption that Israel, and other governments, have to act like people where not speaking when you get ticked off is a first action like people do.
