An analogy would be to the US and Irish governments set up the Provos here to counter the Marxism of the Stickies, and then the Provos turned into an uncontrollable monster killing all in their way. GWB started the Iraqi war ostensibly to help `freedom and democracy' in the Middle East, but I don't think he likes what is growing there now..
