One of the things that I was absolutely appalled to learn is that my fellow Dutchmen are allowing these enemies to preach sedition as long as these enemies call it religious freedom. Not only is this complete nonsense, allowing it is completely, utterly, 100% stupid. No, they don't. It has become politically incorrect to have any pro-Bush opinion. For proof of this, take a look at how my posts have been treated for the last n years about this subject. At some point, popular concensus will undermine and make any effort (to defend and deal with the current threat) a sin. It has almost become that during this election year. Most people don't have the personality to stay divorced from the herd. Thus, more and more people are going to acquire the opinion that there is no danger and all efforts to avoid disaster should be dropped. This human trend is what I've been trying to prevent in these discussions. A part of the job of statesmen is to have a more objective view of foreign and local politics and be able to herd their people based on this view.
