spit I have no idea why this guy keeps unpleasant womaning about my posting in his newsgroup yet seems to want to continue the discussion. People are nuts.

NO! Monetary confidence happens after the initial bootstrap. Monetary confidence is an effect, not a cause at this particular time. To get things to run smoothly the confidence has to be established. However, there has to be some kind of work done to get that started.

For instance, how does a government commuicate to a war-torn country of millions of people over same acres that a $FOO is now the money? The money has to be made, transported distributed. You have to get everybody, no exceptions, to play by these new rules; you have teach everybody the new rules. And this has to be done simultaneously, everywhere, all at once. This requires work, not magic bunnies popping out of black hats.

I haven't even started looking at the psychology. I've been trying to understand the basics. Then I can indulge in looking at mbutt psychology.

This shame would not have happened if the public spirit hadn't been completely demolished, leaving no other option open. This is what I've changing the mindset. They would have not been ashamed at all if the Allies hadn't told them and made them clean that mess up.
