The Univac 3400 Computer
never existed. Some photographs of a Univac 9400 happened to be mislabeled, because when the computer's number appeared in them, it was fuzzy. Another web site I turned up on Google noted that the...

mea culpa ... i just remember being told as undergraduate that the 360-65 as an (750ns memory) "upgrade" of an earlier announced model with 1mic memory that didn't ship.

when somebody referenced that there was a 360-62, i jumped to the conclusion that it might have also been 360-67 with one mic. memory ... in part because I have some vague recollection of reading an early overview pub on machine with virtual memory that was being offered in single (uniprocessor), two processing and four processor models (i.e. smp, multiprocessor) ... and some vague impression that it might have been a different model number.

later when 360-67 showed up there was no longer a four processor model.

there was a custom three procesor model version built for MOL (manned orbital laboratory) project delivered to lockheed ... whiched then seem to disappear. i stumbled across some reference to it showing up again (or at least part of it) at ncss ...

ncss reference here at computer history museum

here is the reference:

from above:

Installation of first operational duplex 67 (actually 2-3's of the MOL triplex system). The team came up with a simplifying algorithm that increased perfomance over the initial algorithm very significantly.
