What's this got to do with editors? I didn't see JMC last evening as he decided to skip out in prep to going to Dartmouth. I'll just email him the question. You mean the old...
Of course there were those subjects..mostly humanities crap. If I couldn't figure out a way to use the course material, I used the time to think of other stuff. Most of this kind of course gave me an inside look of how people think or thought or worked. No matter what I would do with the rest of my life, I'd have to deal with stups. I can remember one humanities course which taught about existentialism and that kind of stuff. It gave me my first exposure to acceptable insanity. Note that I never got my degree; I went to work instead. I never took the phys. ed courses. That was such a f***ing waste requirement; especially on a campus that had a large area and hills and walking was the only way to get around.

I only took one Humanities clbutt that was actually aimed at Humanities majors. After having spent several years pitying those...
Sure. But there wasn't much of that. By the time you're doing your PhD work, there won't be any clbuttes because the stuff hasn't been figured out yet.
Right. That's the feedback mechanism; not grading. It isn't high school anymore.
Yup. He has decided that I am very bad (mostly because he doesn't understand what I'm talking about) and must be put down at every opportunity. It is a very common behaviour of people.
