The very first text editor 3684
golf was: The very first text editor What's this got to do with editors? I didn't see JMC last evening as he decided to skip out in prep to... The very first text editor 3687 This is somewhat of a surprise to non-divers; but cod is a very inquisitive species. On divesites where the fish has become used to divers the other fish will... I only took one Humanities clbutt that was actually aimed at Humanities majors. After having spent several years pitying those poor stupid fools who'd wandered into clbuttes in my majors, I took a junior-level course in the history of the ancient near east and Greece. I was astonished to suddenly be the stupid guy who'd wandered into the wrong clbutt by mistake... and gained a whole new appreciation for the fact that some people really just do think differently than I do, and are at least as smart as me. I've wished ever since that I'd made better use of the opportunity to get an education, rather than just (outstanding) vocational training. After I'm eligible to retire in three years, I'm very tempted to look into distance ed degree programs in Roman Catholic theology (why RC? I am one). One of the (many) reasons I went to the University of Washington instead of even so much as applying at Texas A&M (where my dad wanted me to go -- started at A&M, but left when WWII intervened and finished elsewhere) was that UW had no PE requirement. Actually, the second biggest reason I didn't go to A&M was that the college mascot (a collie) had died at the beginning of summer, and they'd kept its carcbutt on ice until fall so they could have a ceremony for the poor thing. The biggest reason was my dad didn't understand why I found this odd. -- Joseph J. Pfeiffer, Jr., Ph.D. Phone -- (505) 646-1605 Department of Computer Science FAX -- (505) 646-1002
