US Military Dead during Iraq War 1026
Charles Shannon Hendrix Indeed, the families of people missing since the London planting have placed their names and pictures in...

No, that's the whole point, you daft git...Africa cannot actually pay its debts...it does NOT have the means or capacity to do so...hence, no-one has the money...it is spiralling out of control...that is what's so completely stupid about the situation...

US Military Dead during Iraq War 1024
There wasn't containment. While the US and Britain were keeping the playpen doors shut, France, Germany and Russia...

Debts are being held over those who have absolutely no means of paying it off...and what happens is that they can't even often afford to meet the interest on the loan...hence, by "compound interest", the debt just gets worse...and worse...and worse...making it even more impossible to pay the debt...so, they become more and more unable to even meet the interest on the debt...and it goes up further...

Oh, indeed, the debts were actually rather small to begin with...but they've just been sitting there getting worse and worse...spiralling out of control...and it's simply fact that we will NEVER get it back...

Because how can Africa make more money in order to meet the increasing debts? Well, anything it might attempt is going to cost money (it takes money to make money)...and, hence, they can't do it because any money that they may have has to funnelled immediately into the debts, simply to stop them from getting any worse...

It's a delibrate "poverty trap"...it spirals out of control...there is no way that this debt will ever be paid...and the longer it sits there, the more impossible this becomes, as "interest" means it just keeps getting bigger...no-one ever had the money, so to speak, because the majority of this debt has been generated by "compound interest"...money invented from nowhere, in a manner of speaking...

This is the entire absurdity of the situation...the debt can never be paid off because it's an "infinite loop"...if you can't even afford to pay the interest on your loan, then your debt just gets bigger (matching the interest simply keeps it from getting worse, it pays off NONE of that existing debt)...the only ways to make more money all involve spending money...money they don't have because unless it's all put into paying off the debt, the debt is only going to get worse...meaning you need to make more money again...but you can't do that...because all the money you need to make more money is being instantly "invalidated" by the interest on this loan...blah-blah-blah...

This is the "circular logic" here that means Africa (and other developing countries: Africa isn't the only one, it's just the one in the most crap that Bob Geldof's efforts concentrate on this "worst case" first...so, the talk of Africa is just "representative" of the insanity of the situation, not the only place it happens) is basically held FOREVER in a "poverty trap" that is impossible for them to escape...

That is why the debt we hold on them is so ludicrously stupid...we don't really make any appreciable money out of it...it is maintained simply because having poverty-striken countries in the world is "useful" for profiteers:

bah "Westen civilisation = bad"? Gee, I wonder where they got that idea... Could it be unfair trade, impossible debts, imperial...

1. As you may have directly seen, large companies shut down the local factory in your home town...and then "relocate" the entire thing in a developing country...where they can pay these people slave wages to do the same job you used to do before you were "downsized"...wages are a large expense for an employer, so if they can get the same work done elsewhere for effective "slave wages" then they can increase profits enormously...

So, if you think this doesn't have any direct impact on you and yours, then you're completely wrong...in fact, what you'll find is that they open a "sweatshop" in Asia somewhere, pay them next-to-nothing to produce a pair of sports trainers ("sneakers", I think you Americans like to call them, yes? someone else that they are treating like a slave, to all intents and purposes, by exploiting their poverty - and charge you $100 or something for those sneakers...

2. Something that tends to effect Africa more: They start selling arms to a dictator to fight a war...and then also supply arms to the person he's fighting...the bigger the war, the better (for example, the Congolese war - which took in 9 of its neighbours - was the largest war since WWII...and, yeah, you didn't really see any reports about it on your news...when the dead are African "african americans", it's more important to tell us "celebrity gossip" - which, by the way, is usually 90% lies, anyway - or show us a "cute kitten stuck in a tree" to "pacify" us, rather than report on what's actually happening in the world)...millions die...because of all the war and oppressive dictatorship, as you can probably imagine, none of these countries' situations ever improves...

Here's some interesting facts...there's around 6 billion people on this planet...3 billion of whom - half the world's population - live on less than $2 a day...while, in Europe, argicultural subsidies mean that a cow - yeah, a fracking cow - is given $2.50 a day through government "grants"...

This is the world we live in...a European cow - who themselves have no actual requirement for money, just grbutt to chew on - is richer than half the world's population...

Due to the European Common Agricultural policy, farmers are given "grants" for growing particular crops and such...this means every farmer ends up growing the exact same thing...not only is such lack of diversity all a bit silly and even dangerous, this leads to mbuttive "over-production"...hence, there really are these mbuttive mountains (and "mountain" is the word, as these aren't small) of things like butter...which, in order to protect rich economies, are put into a warehouse...

...and simply left to rot...

In a world where millions die of starvation, there are mountains of food that is delibrately over-produced...and then are put into storage...and simply left to ROT...because this "protects" rich nations in getting even richer...

US Military Dead during Iraq War 1029
T.M. Sommers Well, I didn't intend to convey that...I meant "when the Romans left" as in "once the Romans were no longer...

Comprehend: Much of these people who are dying, die completely needlessly...the world has the means and the capacity to eradicate, for sure, at least "extreme poverty" (that is, poverty of the absurd "food left to rot, while people die of starvation" levels...the kind of "poor" that's just stupid and inhumanly bad)...

We pay all these country "aid", by the way...your tax dollars (a Canadian was telling me that Canada spends 0.3% of its GDP on this kind of "aid", to give an example) are being put into "aid" projects...this is good, you might think...well, it might be...if it weren't for all those absurd, impossible debts that our other hand is taking away...

The politicians have learnt this little "trick", you see...when people complain about the poverty in the world, they say things like "we'll increase aid"...this is all just for "show", though, because that's to unfair trade and these impossible debts, everything we give them is "cancelled out" by that which we take from them...and then we take a little bit more...but it's the "status quo" the politicians have been hanging onto for decades to "pacify" complaints that nothing is being done...

Live Aid raised some $200 million...and it was used for good causes...it did help people...because the money was put directly into "on the ground" projects to directly help people...but that amount of money, compared to the entire problem and the impossible debts plced on them, is wiped out in an instant...Bob Geldof was "naive" with the original Live Aid, thinking it was just about there not being money in the pot...this was the SYMPTOM but it was NOT the "cause"...whatever you do with the "aid" is dwarfed immediately by the impossible debts (that just keep getting worse), we hold over them...

The Western world just makes too much money out of people's poverty...we can't have slavery in our own countries - it was abolished and made illegal because of how morally repulsive and unjust it was - but they've worked out that you can keep other countries in poverty...and then, as they have nothing, we can exploit them as effective "slaves" and they're grateful to be paid anything at all, no matter how stupidly and immorally and insanely low that is...and the arms industry has found a great trade in keeping wars and such going, arming both sides...making a handsome profit from liquidate...

Indeed, no-one has the money...it's all "interest"...it's all quite, quite impossible for them to pay...so we'll never, ever see that money...

As an individual, if you got into this situation, then you could file for "bankruptcy"...and then, basically, you get a "black mark" but the slate is wiped clean and you start again...laws insist that "lenders" of money MUST "lend responsibly" to people like you and me...check we have the income and money to pay it back...as an individual, if this was your situation, then your debt would be cancelled (well, baliffs would take your property to make as much money to pay off the people you owe debts to, as far as possible...but then, if there's nothing left, then it has to be written off because, well, there's nothing else they can take from you)...

If you're a developing country, then you are not afforded the same luxury...the call to "drop the debt" basically is just asking for that same kind of luxury you and me would be afforded if we ended up in a similarly ludicrous and impossible situation, to be extended to these countries...we'll never get these debts back because the "interest" is just making them continually worse...and they couldn't pay it back before, when it gets bigger again, it becomes even more impossible...and then that debt grows bigger again...and bigger again...

No-one has the money...no-one ever will have the money...these developing countries never did see that money, as it's all "interest"...invented money, so to speak...and we'll never see that money either because there's no possible way they can ever pay it off...in a quite bizzare sense, this money doesn't even exist...and it never will exist...

It isn't about the money...it's about "the pound of flesh"...

"Why, this bond is forfeit; And lawfully by this the Jew may claim A pound of flesh, to be by him cut off Nearest the merchant's heart." Portio, The Merchant of Venice (act IV:I), William Shakespeare
