I didn't...I was "skipping", as I wasn't intending to provide any "exhaustive and fully complete history of everything that ever possibly happened"...the purpose was not a "history lesson" - there are, indeed, many more qualified and knowledgeable people than me, who is certainly no "expert" - but a clarification of the basic point of what the "Dark Ages" was...regards bah's comment...

You complain about the post being too long, yet simultaneously moan about "omission" of something that was not required to make the basic point? So, apparently, I've written too little by "skipping", yet write too much overall? This doesn't make much sense, unless the real complaint is just that I've not written what YOU would want me to write...but, if I write what you would have written, then you already know it...so what's the point in me writing anything? Unless it's not opinion or information but "confirmation" that you're looking for...I should write what you expect to be written because that "confirms" your ego...and, hence, you scrape for what you can find to moan about in the post, in order to reclaim the "ego" and "confirmation" by dismissing the post in entirity, on the strength of one "skip" alone...

How would you know? You didn't even read it...

I don't "conform", so I don't provide "ego confirmation" for you...so, you don't bother to even take a read of it, because while it doesn't "conform", it threatens your internal psychological doubt confidence level in yourself...dismissing the entire thing out of hand, without really knowing what on Earth it is you dismiss because you can't even be bothered to read it...

You choose to remain ignorant of what I might have said...and then use this as "superiority confirmation"? You don't even know what it is you dismiss!

And I'm supposed to take this knee-jerk outright dismissal based on confessed ignorance of what was written seriously?

If this is your rationale basis - your logical process of deduction - then your "conclusions" are worth naught...

It's like taking the advice of a book review that starts: "I've not actually read beyond the first line of the book and have no idea what I'm talking about here...but I say it must be a bad book because the author had not written the first line that I would have written in my own book...and I don't like the breastle...so, I 'decree' that no-one else should ever read this book...ever...conform to the wishes of my ego, slave!"...

Mind you, I HAVE read such "phantom book reviews" in many places...and Bush operates an entire nation by a fully non-evidence-based rationale of unsubstansiated "instinct"...this all appears to be a modern "mental disease" or something...the abandonment of any attempt at scientific objectivity and reasoned logic, towards the narcbuttistic adoration of the "self"...

I know, I know...I broke the "orthodoxy" several paragraphs back and you're not even reading this part...but, well, it puts it on the record, even you'll never know it...there's no way to help someone who lives in a permanent state of "denial", anyway, unfortunately...

You've not read it...so, this means you've personally not experienced any evidence to the contrary of your beliefs - as you simply refuse to provide any opportunity for an alternative viewpoint to make itself known - and, hence, you return to your "comfort zone" that everything in the world "conforms" to your ego...just read the things that tell you what you already know, in the way you want to hear it...
