US Military Dead during Iraq War 1856
Nathan Funny...I seem to remember that I might have made that point innumerable times myself... Nevertheless, you're correct that I'm not "practicing what I preach" in this instance...apologies: To err is to be human...and totally forgetting to follow one's own "good advice" because the "blood rises" at a stupid comment or two, seems even more human again ;)... Correct, in the general case... Sorry...but I'm not "playing victim"...bah is making insane accusations without any basis in reality or even logic whatsoever...my response is natural confusion at this... The part about bah pulling out any insanity to try to "strike" at me is simply factual...I'm NOT a "victim", entirely because it doesn't even make logical sense...the whole point here is that this "attack" misses the target entirely because it's not even rational, let alone anything (I was buttuming, at least) a right-minded individual could even take seriously... On the contrary, bah's clearly desparate or insane...actually, it seems to be both...and I was making a "victim" out of her, by ridiculing the very notion that something so patently wrong could even begin to be taken seriously by anyone... I'm genuinely incredulous that you even think Bah could "have a point" even in the remotest sense about the "cut and paste"...you've read plenty of my posts...each one is written entirely from scratch (heck, I don't even use an automatic signature and put that in manually each and every time...that what allows me to "vary" it sometimes to the "serious" rather than "smiley" face, when "happiness" is not appropriate for the subject matter contained therein)... The only "cut and paste" I ever employ is cutting code out of my IDE to paste it into a post, for others to try out a program...or that of "quotations", which, of course, by definition, are verbatim duplication of someone else's words...rarely more than a few sentences and the author's name...even there, I try to keep it "varied" (relevence to "current subject matter" accepted)... Really, write and run your "program"...you can parse YEARS worth of posts and discover no otherwise explicable "duplication" (such as a short phrase like: "No way!" or something being used more than once...but not "cut and paste", simply that some sentences are used often)...if you discover anything, then you'll find that I actually like to throw "variety" in there (e.g. the unwritten rule of never using the same word twice, as it reads badly...from the sentence above, I write "discover" in the first part and "find" - an alternative synonym - in the second...because "if you discover anything, then you'll discover" reads as "sloppy", if you do it too often...it's an "old writer's trick" for more fluidly readable text...use synonyms to avoid the lack of synonyms making a sentence full of no synonyms read badly because without synonyms the sentence becomes internally repetative...doesn't read well...so, delibrately throw some "variation" in to avoid this...ironically, I automatically tend to employ this "unwritten rule" in my writing without thinking, that the accusation against me is ironically the total reverse of the reality)... Again, I do recall having mentioned such before... That, essentially, was what Jesus preached... And Gandhi did to free India - now the world's largest democracy - from the world's largest empire (proving, so to speak, that there's nothing "minor" in such philosophy...literally, never been a bigger "enemy"...never been a bigger democratic "prize"...NOT "small fry" stuff at all)... Oh, come on...please spare me the "Star Trek philosophy"... Yeah, right...Hitler picked on the Jews for the Holocaust because, deep down, he Loved them...Bin Laden "Loved" New Yorkers so much that he had to kill as many of them as he could (I doubt, unless he's just delibrately being a sick bastard, he owns a "I heart NY" T-shirt)... Sorry, some "enemies" may fit that description...some do...but it's NOT any "universal principle", unfortunately...if only it were...some enemies are NOT "you always hurt the ones you Love" but are punishing those they despise, hate and loathe with their every fibre... What is nonsense is that the world is split into neat "black and white" categories, simple "pure good vs. pure evil" battles...and that kind of crap...doesn't work that way...that's a Western "myth"... Foul! Illegal move!! King's pawn to E4...or Queen's pawn to D4... The Queen's pawn can't move like a knight to E4...either that or you set up the pieces wrongly... Anyway, aren't we supposed to toss a coin or something to work out who plays which colour? US Military Dead during Iraq War 1857 bah Oh, right...sorry...as you're making no fracking sense whatsoever, in any regard, it's quite true that I didn't understand your accusation entirely... Well, that's even easier to prove you're full... Plus, according to a chess website, from major games playing in the years 1810 to 2005, the "Queen's Pawn Game" ends in a win to white 41.4% of the time (while only 31.2% for black, the rest drawn games) and seeing as you're white here, I don't like those odds... Beth :)
