Of course. Murphy's Law makes this true.

What pieces of this goes into the monitor's error handling? Is there any process for ensuring that this stuff gets enough documentation?

I understand this. The processes in developing a new airplane model are not simple. I sat next to a guy whose company built wings for Boeing. He said it took 9 months to make one. And this is technology that hasn't changed in 50 years or so. If innovation is done, then I can see how matching the hardware to the emulator can work.

I cannot see how this can work if in an area whose innovation isn't done. Is this a sign that there isn't going to be any more innovations but only improvements in the computing biz?

WHO writes the code that determines these differences? The code has to have a physical thingie to match its results with physical laws of Nature. You are still talking too high...

But there is an underlying goal that won't change: What goes up must not come down uncontrollably. There isn't any innovation involved when the product is a production line mbutt produced item.

This approach keeps hardware from any innovation. (The hardware development doesn't drive the software development but the reverse.)

I wonder if this natural or a result. Did the auto industry go through a similar phase of reversal?
