This is why pagers and mobile phones can have email sent to them. There are, of course...

You were taught????!!!! And, since it was 7th grade, you couldn't have asked why without getting labelled as a trouble maker.

I never did. I watched my college roommate do it and could never figure out the advantage (she also marked just about every line). Besides that, those markers were expensive and I was on a $2-month budget.

emoticon pats other emoticon in sympathy If you ever figure out how to can it, you'll make a billion bucks because all of use will buy it.

I had a new boss like that. Instead of spending my time working on the project, I had to set in his office for hours explaining the project. What I did was read my specs to him which he refused to read. He was "making sure" that I understood what I was doing. When he got promoted, he fired me and I moved from engineering to maintenance. After I recovered from the shame, I used this opportunity to start preparing for the time when the two groups would merge and got maintainers back to talking to developers. The only difference they saw after the reorg was change of cost center numbers on their paychecks.

Eric Chomko She's got all the hardware she needs... An 800mhz PIII should be a reasonable Linux box. If she needs more I'll send it. I just raided...
