Okay, Charley isn't lazy.

Only because you say so. If you said yes, you might be surprised by your own results. I'm fascinated at the level of effort that you and others have put in basically refusing to change. Are you perfect? I'm not claiming that you have a defect. Quite the contrary! Driven people like most here have the best ability to affect their won change. That, simply, is all I have been saying. I'm not claiming to be right and you, collectively, wrong. Again, quite the contrary. But, you, BAH, have absolutely no problem claiming I am wrong. I you certain about that?

Are you saying that IT can't learn from the auto industry? That Demming's apporach only works for auto manufacturers and somehow won't translate to anything else?

What is in its infancy? CPU manufacturing, that I was told had 25 years of steady growth 25 years ago. Are you saying that we can go from 1 GHz to 1 petahertz like we did from 1 MHz to 1 GHz? No, IT is certainly no longer in its infancy. Computers like cars and airplanes are commonplace. This isn't nanotchnology waiting on the forefront of Betz's S-curve where the sky is the limit. In case you haven't noticed IT products haven't kept pace with Moore's Law for about half a decade now.

IT may not be old but it is no longer an infant.

Why? Do you like seeing people in pain? Man, those you like you love and those you don't like you hate. How binary of you BAHt-girl...

Right, again, only because you say so. Was it Lincoln that said, "people choose how happy they want to be"?
