No, we covered that one in comprehensive school, wasn't missing. The hard part was always figuring which of the buttumption(s) might be false - or, indeed, if any of them might be true.

Congratulations, you've just shown why heresy ended up being treated worse than paganism, and the worst religious wars are between religions that have a lot of common ground (so to say). After all, it's an article of faith that the principal's own kind of faith doe not have those flaws, and therefore a slightly different another faith is a greater evil than a completely different faith ... it might be fortunate that a lot of people would not agree with you ;-)

Oh, and some of the religious folks would claim that your definition for "evil" is false, therefore reducing this to an example of case #1 above. After all, "evil" is often defined by a religion to begin with...

This issue was discussed in both secular school and some of the church events I've attended, so I don't think you're all that unique in that regard either.

I think you may be overly generalizing from whatever kind of mainstream education you've seen. It's a bit different in other parts of the world, possibly occasionally better in these respects than what you've seen.

That said, I'm quite convinced that you're right in that home-schooling can produce better results in some respects than a given local school system, but then again it certainly isn't guaranteed to ... and I would say that the school system has some value as a social insbreastution as well.
