I'll take that over the one-inch knife the TSA confiscated from me -- the latter is useless for killing persons. Better yet, who needs undetectable weapons when the TSA rarely finds even "detectable" ones? Their own reports say they're no better than the private screeners were pre-9-11; auditors regularly slip guns and plants through without alarm. The above knife was lost in my carry-on bag, going through various airports' checkpoints several times per week every week, and it took them two years to find it. They never would have found it if I'd been trying to hide it -- even not knowing it was there, I managed to slip it past them over a hundred times, including several hand searches. I haven't figured out how to kill someone with the little bag of peanuts yet, but I'm sure it's possible.
