Why I use a Mac, anno 2006 3711Could have been. I've worked with more than a few DEC folks and they sometimes seemed a bit dazzled by the "real world." Mostly because it was odder than they'd expected, or at least been used to. Windows I recall a conversation a few years back with a relation: He: "I know all about computers!" Me: "What's a Pentium?" He: "The Central Processor!" Me: "Very good, what's a central processor?" He: "Uh." I think he-she still missed the point I was trying to make, but we'll see. A couple of others have commented who apparently DID get the point, and have expanded upon it to emphasize aspects I didn't go into. Why I use a Mac, anno 2006 3712 No. Read again. The painter is indeed painting. Expressing his or her talents using the tools... Yes, I took a number of clbuttes in various forms of artistic expression. Mostly I learned that I'm not much good at it. Still, I find myself even today looking at what kinds of brushes are available when I go to buy them for building models or even painting a wall. I was mostly aluding to the self-taught or to those who use art as a side of their primary occupation. I never got that far. I (usually) know my limitations, or learn them fairly quickly. - Bill
