Based on what AOL tries to stuff down my disk throat, I can imagine :-).

Of course not. No, I was trying to imply that 'GreyCloud' was that stupid. He is begining to sound like it. I don't...

Is it possible to describe a peculiar odd behavior?...in 25 words or less.

Are those wedges becoming more frequent? The wedge I observe on my purely user end is not predictable but I can sense when one is coming. I have no idea how I can tell but I'm working on that one. One thing that does have me completely flummoxed is the occurenence of disconnect when I'm connected to the ISP's newsserver. It's random, there is no timeout, and it can happen in the middle of a transmission (this one is very rare). So far, the only hypothesis is that they have a daemon that does disconnect sweeps when Trudy in the front office farts.

Now, this is a serious security breach. It implies that the road system is no longer running with independent hubs. It's like having a traffic snarl in Baltimore will immediately cause one in Boston. This doesn't happen with autos, but it does with planes.

It would be nice to be able to reflect all this in a few lights so I could zoom out and watch. But that would be impossible. So I have to use my imagination without any sanity checks.
