XBOX 360 2604XBOX 360 2605 Sure. Most of my readings define the "decline" as the perceived loss of power, a.k.a. direct political and economic control, in transforming territories to self-sufficient and self-determinating nations... I was told by this person it was British laws in this case, not the US. No,no,no. IIRC, even if I sent him stuff, it wouldn't have been let into the country. I didn't believe him because Great Britain wasn't a commie country. It was true. If he went to the US, and carried the books back, he didn't have a problem. If he had me send him lots of books, some would get through but eventually my shipments would begin to get tagged and returned; I think this was to discourage "unofficial" business from leaking into the country. There was definitely no way to order from a catalog of an alien bookstore or publishing house.
Not in this case. In that book I mentioned, the US lady was able to send meat and eggs and sugar to the English bookstore, but those people were not allowed to make an order of this stuff and have it sent to them. ISTR that a Norway friend's family got meat by ordering it from one country and get it shipped to their house; but there was some dodgy way to the shipping, too. Bottom line is that this kind of goods controls never works over the long term. BAH
