Which all take paperwork that couldn't be found nor was presented to UN inspectors. There were cases in the 90s where the UN went back and found the rockets, they had cut up, welded back together again.

It is called laws which state, "this is bad, everything else is good unless you use it to do something bad". This isn't a policy that is unique to the United States. It has nothing to do with persuasion other than not wringing hands and flapping lips when x does bad. Now, the list of bad things in Iraq is changing from Saddam-enhancement rules to Iraq-production-improvement rules with the goal of Iraqis being self-governing, collectively responsible for national defense, turning the society back into a law-based society and self-sufficient w.r.t. economy. IOW, no more hand-outs. The UN policies is skewed to keeping poor countries poor by getting them dependent on handouts.

And what do you think those Iraqis are doing? You aren't hearing at all about this stuff in the news. From the pictures I've seen, most people are very busy getting things done. When they finally start adjusting to undoing the habits of survival they had to do under Saddam, they will do fine. These are an educated people which is due to a policy of Saddam's in the 80s. I keep wondering if he didn't contract the same diseases as Idi Amin because the guy started doing stupid things.

Where did you learn that? The reason he had two war fronts is because he didn't have huge resources. He needed those of Russia. He was already running out of workers mid-war.

Occam's razor requires logic that is consistent with facts. Yours has very little.
